About Juanette

 My name is Juanette Hadnott and I am the creator and owner of Had I Not Tied The Knot. As you can see I chose my company's name to be a play on words from my last name Hadnott. I enjoy organization, planning, making people's dreams come true, and seeing a smile throughout the process. I am here to create memorable dreams that will last an eternity.

The Small Details

 I chose to become a wedding planner after being selected to organize and coordinate a good friend's of mine wedding and noticed I had a knack for wedding planning. It is all about what you love to do that makes it more worth the while and it shows on your face, in your craft, and in your words. 

Why Had I Not Tied The Knot?

Q: Why do I need a wedding planner?
 
A: Although weddings are full of fun, excitement & emotions, planning a wedding is a ton of work.  A qualified wedding planner can help make your dream wedding a reality all the while handling most of the legwork, keeping you on track, sharing of creativity and so much more. I handle all the little details so you can enjoy the experience of planning your wedding instead of getting stressed out. 
 
 
Q: How do I know which wedding planner is right for me?
 
A: Your wedding is one of the most important days in your life! I feel that it is very important that you can trust and feel comfortable with me from the very beginning. My initial consultation is complimentary so you can get a "feel" for the "fit"!   In the months leading up to your wedding we will be spending a lot of time together and there will be loads of communication between you and myself! Do your homework!  You want to be working with someone who you “mesh” with!
 
 
Q: Is this your full time job?
 
A: No, this is my part-time job, but you will feel that it is my full-time job. I am available 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST. If we need a mandatory meeting, I am a phone call away.
 
 
Q: Is there a fee for the initial meeting?
 
A: No!  This is the time to become acquainted with one another.  I understand you want to get a feel as to if I am the best fit for you, as well, you for myself!!!
 
 
Q: Do you charge hourly, flat fee or a percentage of the budget?
 
A: I don’t believe in “one size fits all”!  Following our initial meeting, I will review all our notes and create a custom package and quote for you that will come with a flat rate based on the size and scope of your wedding.
 
 
Q: Can you come with me to vendor meetings? 
 
A: If this is part of your customized package, I are more than happy to attend vendor meetings as long as my schedule allows.  I do my best to coordinate everyone’s schedule.

 
Q: How involved in the wedding planning process are you?
 
A: I can be involved as much as you need me to.  If you need help with ideas from the "big picture" to the "little details", I can help!  It all depends on what package you choose.  Most importantly, please remember, you are still the one that makes all the actual decisions!
 
 
Q: Do you run a ceremony rehearsal?
 
A: Yes!  This is included in every package and I actually “almost” require it!   It is imperative that I am there and run the “show” as this is our dress rehearsal for the next day!  
 
Q: Do you work with an assistant?
 
A: Yes!  I will always have at least one assistant with me on wedding day to ensure we can tend to everyone’s needs (bridal party, parents, vendors, etc)!
 
 
Q: What is my wedding day like when I work with Had I Not Tied The Knot?
 
A: The bride, groom and families will be able to feel like VIP’s and enjoy every single moment of the day/weekend!  I promise!!!  You will truly be able to relax and enjoy every single moment of the day and soak in every special moment!!
 
 
Q: How would you describe yourself?
 
A: I’m a fun and loving mom who is organized, completed devoted to everything I do, detail-oriented, sports-obsessed and all things WEDDING-obsessed!!!!
